Breathe Easier: Raymond James Charity Softball Game benefitting the Montreal Chest Institute

September 16, 2021

This Saturday, September 18, the Raymond James Bulls will take on the MCI Lobes for a charity softball game at Pierre Elliot Trudeau Park in Montreal. This annual event has raised almost $250,000 in support of the Montreal Chest Institute since its inception in 2013.

“This hospital is special,” shares team captain and organizer Mitchell Rosenberg, Portfolio Manager, Montreal. “The doctors and all the staff go the extra mile to treat their patients as family. This year the funds raised at the game will help provide specialized care related to Covid-19.”

The MCI is one of the top centres for innovative respiratory care in the country. For more than 100 years, MCI has provided life-changing care to those living with complex and chronic respiratory conditions breathe easier and live longer.

Covid-19 has made their work more important than ever before. The Post-COVID-19 Clinic will support the many patients who are experiencing symptoms six months or more after diagnosis.
