A Rope for Hope!

On Thursday September 17, 2020, Vice President & Portfolio Manager Tina Chow and her friend and neighbor Sue rappelled down the Sheraton Suites Eau Claire in support of Make-A-Wish Canada and their Rope for Hope event!

Tina and Make-A-Wish Canada are recent recipients of a $1000 Advisory Committee Grant. Together, they raised $3300 for Make-A-Wish. When asked why she wanted to participate, she stated, “I was inspired by Mikah when I heard her story to challenge myself to do this and one of my very closest friends says, ‘I roped her in’! We are so fortunate and this is our way of giving back. We haven’t thought it through but we are just going to close our eyes and get this done, because there have been harder challenges in life. This is just one that we will overcome to help Make-A-Wish come true.”

Tina is also the newest recipient of the Woman of Distinction Award. Tina received the award at the Raymond James Ltd. 26th annual Women’s Symposium, held virtually September 16–18, 2020. This award is a testament to all that Tina does for the firm and for her community. The Raymond James Canada Foundation would like to congratulate Tina on receiving this prestigious award, for her continued support of the Foundation and being a tireless advocate for charities doing good work.
