$60,000 for Australia

At the Raymond James Canada Foundation, our mission is to help build healthy, vibrant, and livable communities across Canada while serving as a catalyst to mobilize the cumulative resources of Raymond James Ltd. We believe in being good global citizens at RJ Canada Foundation; we provide the platform for our associates and advisors to engage in philanthropic endeavors through our work-place giving programs. During times of crisis, this also means providing support internationally. In partnership with the Canadian Red Cross; the world’s largest humanitarian network, we respond with associate and advisor led fundraising campaigns. With urgent requests, we respond quickly and provide this federated charity the support that they can use best: funding!

We are pleased to grant $60,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of the Australia Wildfire Relief Efforts. To date over 1 billion animals have perished, lives have been lost and millions of hectares burned. The contribution of our advisors and associates will help Australia continue the fight and assist in the rebuilding of the many affected communities.
